And I will pray the Father； and he shall give you another forter； that he may abide with you for ever；
14：17就是真理的圣灵，乃世人不能接受的。因为不见他，也不认识他。你们却认识他。因他常与你们同在，也要在你们里面。
Even the Spirit of truth； whom the world cannot receive； because it seeth him not； neither knoweth him： but ye know him； for he dwelleth with you； and shall be in you。
14：18我不撇下你们为孤儿，我必到你们这里来。
I will not leave you fortless： I will e to you。
14：19还有不多的时候，世人不再看见我。你们却看见我。因为我活着，你们也活着。
Yet a little while； and the world seeth me no more； but ye see me： because I live； ye shall live also。
14：20到那日，你们就知道我在父里面，你们在我里面，我也在你们里面。
At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father； and ye in me； and I in you。
14：21有了我的命令又遵守的，这人就是爱我的。爱我的必蒙我父爱他，我也要爱他，并且要向他显现。
He that hath my mandments； and keepeth them； he it is that loveth me： and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father； and I will love him； and will manifest myself to him。
14：22犹大（不是加略人犹大）问耶稣说，主阿，为什么要向我们显现，不向世人显现呢。
Judas saith unto him； not Iscariot； Lord； how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us； and not unto the world？
14：23耶稣回答说，人若爱我，就必遵守我的道。我父也必爱他，并且我们要到他那里去，与他同住。
Jesus answered and said unto him； If a man love me； he will keep my words： and my Father will love him； and we will e unto him； and make our abode with him。
14：24不爱我的人就不遵守我的道。你们所听见的道不是我的，乃是差我来之父的道。
He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings： and the word which ye hear is not mine； but the Father's which sent me。
14：25我还与你们同住的时候，已将这些话对你们说了。
These things have I spoken unto you； being yet present with you。
14：26但保惠师，就是父因我的名所要差来的圣灵，他要将一切的事，指教你们，并且要叫你们想起我对你们所说的一切话。
But the forter； which is the Holy Ghost； whom the Father will send in my name； he shall teach you all things； and bring all things to your remembrance； whatsoever I have said unto you。
14：27我留下平安给你们，我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的。你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯。
Peace I leave with you； my peace I give unto you： not as the world giveth； give I unto you。 Let not your heart be troubled； neither let it be afraid。
14：28你们听见我对你们说了，我去还要到你们这里来。你们若爱我，因我到父那里去，就必喜乐，因为父是比我大的。
Ye have heard how I said unto you； I go away； and e again unto you。 If ye loved me； ye would rejoice； because I said； I go unto the Father： for my Father is greater than I。
14：29现在事情还没有成就，我豫先告诉你们，叫你们到事情成就的时候，就可以信。
And now I have told you before it e to pass； that； when it is e to pass； ye might believe。
14：30以后我不再和你们多说话，因为这世界的王将到。他在我里面是毫无所有。
Hereafter I will not talk much with you： for the prince of this world eth； and hath nothing in me。
14：31但要叫世人知道我爱父，并且父怎样吩咐我，我就怎样行。起来我们走吧。
But that the world may know that I love the Father； and as the Father gave me mandment； even so I do。 Arise； let us go hence。

15：1我是真葡萄树，我父是栽培的人。
I am the true vine； and my Father is the husbandman。
15：2凡属我不结果子的枝子，他就剪去。凡结果子的，
Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away： and every branch that beareth fruit； he purgeth it； that it may bring forth more fruit。
15：3现在你们因我讲给你们的道，已经乾净了。
Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you。
15：4你们要常在我里面，我也常在你们里面。枝子若不常在葡萄树上，自己就不能结果子。你们若不常在我里面，也是这样。
Abide in me； and I in you。 As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself； except it abide in the vine； no more can ye； except ye abide in me。
15：5我是葡萄树，你们是枝子。常在我里面的，我也常在他里面，这人就多结果子。因为离了我，你们就不能作什么。
I am the vine； ye are the branches： He that abideth in me； and I in him； the same bringeth forth much fruit： for without me ye can do nothing。
15：6人若不常在我里面，就像枝子丢在外面枯乾，人拾起来，扔在火里烧了。
If a man abide not in me； he is cast forth as a branch； and is withered； and men gather them； and cast them into the fire； and they are burned。
15：7你们若常在我里面，我的话也常在你们里面，凡你们所愿意的，祈求就给你们成就。
If ye abide in me； and my words abide in you； ye shall ask what ye will； and it shall be done unto you。
15：8你们多结果子，我父就因此得荣耀，你们也就是我的门徒了。
Herein is my Father glorified； that ye bear much fruit； so shall ye be my disciples。
15：9我爱你们，正如父爱我一样。你们要常在我的爱里。
As the Father hath loved me； so have I loved you： continue ye in my love。
15：10你们若遵守我的命令，就常在我的爱里。正如我遵守了我父的命令，常在他的爱里。
If ye keep my mandments； ye shall abide in my love； even as I have kept my Father's mandments； and abide in his love。
15：11这些事我已经对你们说了，是要叫我的喜乐，存在你们心里，并叫你们的喜乐可以满足。
These things have I spoken unto you； that my joy might remain in you； and that your joy might be full。
15：12你们要彼此相爱，像我爱你们一样，这就是我的命令。
This is my mandment； That ye love one another； as I have loved you。
15：13人为朋友舍命，人的爱心没有比这个更大的。
Greater love hath no man than this； that a man lay down his life for his friends。
15：14你们若遵行我所吩付的，就是我的朋友了。
Ye are my friends； if ye do whatsoever I mand you。
15：15以后我不再称你们为仆人。因仆人不知道主人所作的事。我乃称你们为朋友。因我从我父所听见的。已经都告诉你们了。
Henceforth I call you not servants； for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth： but I have called you friends； for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you。
15：16不是你们拣选了我，是我拣选了你们，并且分派你们去结果子，叫你们的果子长存。使你们奉我的名，无论向父求什么，他就赐给你们。
Ye have not chosen me； but I have chosen you； and ordained you； that ye should go and bring forth fruit； and that your fruit should remain： that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name； he may give it you。
15：17我这样吩咐你们，是要叫你们彼此相爱。
These things I mand you； that ye love one another。
15：18世人若恨你们，你们知道（或作该知道）恨你们以先，已经恨我了。
If the world hate you； ye know that it hated me before it hated you。
15：19你们若属世界，世界必爱属自己的。只因你们不属世界。乃是我从世界拣选了你们，所以世界就恨你们。
If ye were of the world； the world would love his own： but because ye are not of the world； but I have chosen you out of the world； therefore the world hateth you。
15：20你们要记念我从前对你们所说的话，仆人不能大于主人。他们若逼迫了我，也要逼迫你们。若遵守了我的话，也要遵守你们的话。
Remember the word that I said unto you； The servant is not greater than his lord。 If they have persecuted me； they will also persecute you； if they have kept my saying； they will keep yours also。
15：21但他们因我的名，要向你们行这一切的事，因为他们不认识那差我来的。
But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake； because they know not him that sent me。
